The City’s
Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Facilities will close the Swansboro
Indoor Swimming Pool, 3160 Midlothian Turnpike, at normal closing hours on
Thursday, September 3, 2015. The maintenance will begin on Friday, September 4,
2015 and the facility is expected to reopen at the end of the month.
Work will include
the painting of the building, repairing the pool liner, and general maintenance
work.
Swansboro aquatic
programs will be transferred to the Bellemeade Indoor Swimming Pool, 1800
Lynhaven Avenue, with the exception of the Richmond Racers Swim Team.
